our work brings together structure and lived experience.

Each project is a considered expression of how our clients move through their homes, shaping spaces to feel intuitive and complete.

studio

Roman Interiors is a boutique design studio focused on the thoughtful transformation of private homes.

The work centers on how spaces function before how they appear —always addressing flow, proportion, and the underlying structure that supports the routines within a home.

Projects range from targeted space planning to full-home renovations, always approached with the same intention: to bring clarity, coherence, and long-term value to the decisions that define a home.

philosophy

A home is often the result of years of work, planning, and investment. It carries financial and emotional weight.

The studio approaches each project with that understanding.

Design is not treated as a superficial layer, but as a process of making decisions that will impact how a home is experienced every day.

The role of the designer is to guide those decisions with clarity and intention—bringing both rigor and ease to a process that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

approach

The studio works with homeowners at pivotal moments—before a renovation begins, during the early stages of planning, or when a home no longer feels aligned with the way it is being lived in.

Often, the challenge is not a lack of ideas, but a lack of structure. Roman Interiors brings a framework to that process.

The goal is not simply to design a space that looks good, but to shape one that feels resolved—where everything has its place, and nothing feels accidental.

the founder

Roman Interiors was founded by Diana Roman, an interior designer with a background spanning both analytical and creative disciplines.

Before establishing the studio, she worked in high-end residential architecture, managing procurement and coordination across complex projects. That experience informs a design approach that is as attentive to execution and investment as it is to vision.

Having grown up in Europe, her perspective on interiors is shaped by a sensitivity to time, material honesty, and the quiet character that emerges when spaces are allowed to evolve rather than be overworked.

Whether at the earliest stages of a project or in the refinement of an existing space, Roman Interiors approaches each home with the same objective:

to make it work beautifully for the life lived within it.
